Does anyone else think this is unfair (3D movies)?

Me and my partner cannot stand watching 3D movies at the cinema, as it
gives us headaches.
We would like to go see Transformers 3, but the 2D version is either
on too early, or too late. (We have kids, so it's awkward times for
babysitters)
But the 3D version is on like every hour - I find this unfair for
people who doesn't want to watch movies in 3D.

What do you think, and when do you think the whole 3D movie hype will
just die down.
